Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy explains what information The Home Project Network ("we", "us") collects when you visit this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
The Home Project Network is a free comparison service that helps homeowners connect with independent home improvement companies. We are not a contractor and do not perform any work ourselves.
Information we collect on this site
This site does not ask you to enter your name, phone number, email or address. When you visit, we and our technology partners automatically collect limited technical information, such as:
- Your device type, browser and operating system
- Your IP address and approximate location (city or region)
- The pages you view, the buttons you click and the ad or link that brought you here
- Cookie and similar identifiers
We collect this through cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and ad measurement tools.
Information you give to our partners
When you continue from this site, you are taken to a website operated by a third-party partner. Any details you submit there, such as your contact information, are collected by that partner and handled under their privacy policy, not this one. That partner may share your details with home improvement companies so they can contact you about your project. Please review the partner's privacy policy before submitting your information.
How we use information
- To operate and improve this website
- To measure how well our advertising works and to show relevant ads
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and invalid traffic
- To comply with legal obligations
How we share information
We share the technical information described above with advertising platforms (such as Meta), analytics and ad measurement providers, and service providers that help us run this site. We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your name, phone number or email, because we do not collect them on this site.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- You can manage the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in your Meta ad preferences.
- You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including in California and other US states, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. To make a request, email us at hello@thehomeprojectnetwork.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Children
This site is intended for adult homeowners. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
